We are expanding to meet the upcoming needs of Gripen and are currently looking for several new employees within control system hardware, where you can be either junior or senior. In Tannefors, we can offer a wide variety of exciting opportunities within mechatronics or hydraulics where you could be part of a fantastic team.

Your Role

Would you like to be part of the area responsible for the most technically advanced parts of Gripen? In the role of equipment engineer, you will have a cohesive and driving technical role. You will work closely with the experienced colleagues we have in the technical field. You will have the opportunity to work with hardware throughout the aircraft's lifecycle, from early definition phases and procurements to maintenance and operational feedback. Working together with subcontractors, purchasing, production, aircraft mechanics, pilots, and Saab's collective expertise in equipment development will be common. You will belong to a team that works with both Gripen C/D and Gripen E/F, as well as with the development of future combat aircraft.

Your Profile

You are a curious and unpretentious team player with a genuine interest in technology who appreciates processes, order, and structure. To succeed in the role, you should find it easy to build relationships, be a good communicator, and demonstrate personal maturity and a sense of responsibility.

Previous experience in working with hardware, procurements, or maintenance for flying systems is a significant merit. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities and how you can contribute to the team's ability to deliver. You are an engineer or have worked for many years in relevant areas at Saab.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations at the time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenships.
